Terms of Service

Effective date: 10 October 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between SA Globus (“SA Globus”, “we”) and the person or entity that accesses Ledgerline (the “Service”) (“User”, “you”). By signing in to or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Nature of the Service

2.1 The Service is a private, non-commercial tool that presents consolidated financial insights prepared from UK QuickBooks Online companies that you are authorised to connect. It is provided to a limited number of UK clients of SA Globus by invitation only. It reads data and reports on it; it does not create or change anything in QuickBooks.

2.2 The Service is provided free of charge. No fee is payable by Users, and no payment is processed through the Service.

2.3 Accounts are created by SA Globus on invitation. Credentials are personal to the User, must not be shared, and may be revoked or disabled bySA Globus at any time. A temporary password must be replaced at first sign-in.

2.4 Reports are presented in pounds sterling (GBP). Only UK companies reporting in GBP are supported.

3. Eligibility and authority

You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and that you are the owner of, or are duly authorised by the owner to connect, each QuickBooks Online company that you link to the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your credentials and must keep them confidential.

4. Acceptable use

You shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:

  • access or attempt to access data of any company you are not authorised to view;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent any security or rate-limiting measure;
  • interfere with the operation of the Service or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the Service, except as permitted by law; or
  • use the Service in violation of applicable law or of Intuit’s terms governing QuickBooks Online.

5. Your data

As between the parties, you retain all rights in the data in your QuickBooks Online company and in the reports generated from it. You grant SA Globus a limited licence to access and process that data solely to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. To the extent that data includes personal data, SA Globus acts as your processor, on the data processing terms made available to you under Article 28 UK GDPR. You may disconnect or remove a company at any time.

6. Reports are not professional advice

Reports displayed in the Service are derived from the data held in QuickBooks Online and are provided for management information only. They do not constitute accounting, audit, tax, legal or investment advice. You are responsible for verifying figures against your books before relying on them for any decision or filing.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and SA Globus disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SA Globus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising out of or relating to the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, SA Globus’s aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 10,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. SA Globus may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if continued access poses a security risk. On termination, Section 6 of the Privacy Policy governs the deletion of your data.

11. Third-party services; trademarks

The Service interoperates with QuickBooks Online, a service of Intuit Inc. Your use of QuickBooks Online remains subject to Intuit’s terms. QuickBooks and Intuit are registered trademarks of Intuit Inc. The Service is not sponsored or endorsed by Intuit.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the parties concerning the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.
